Getting to Utrecht
- Other races within 2,000 km of Utrecht, nearest first, as the crow flies between city centres: Düsseldorf (about 150 km, 11–15 Nov), London (about 350 km, 2–6 Dec), Hamburg (about 350 km, 28 Oct – 1 Nov) and Birmingham (about 500 km, 27 Oct – 1 Nov).
- It is the only race in the Netherlands among the next 30 on the calendar.
- On the calendar, the last race before it starts is Rio de Janeiro (21–22 Nov) and the first one after it ends is London, 2 days later (2–6 Dec).
- Utrecht is the venue behind the only published Roxzone dataset with a stated sample (hyroxdatalab, 825 complete results): 5:57 for men and 6:34 for women, all transitions together. The source notes that Roxzone time depends on the hall, so that figure fits this venue best.
